The remnants of torture
Mere memories in my core.
Fleeting images,
On lonely pale nights
Whisper to me,
Strange and forgotten.
Am I present or departed?
Exhaustion leaves me unaware.
Truths are unwelcome,
Desirable distracted pain,
Illusions from one's sadistic mind

The departed wept
For noone who was
In their farewell of their life
Not being sent to heaven nor hell
In this dale they'll be forever trapped
Chained in a damned loop
Barren from light and dark
The sands of time remain curdle
For every cursed who embraced the plague
Linked between life and death
A twisted and creepy gap
This dale hosts no peace for the outbound souls
Numb but severe sequel
Tripping in the foggy lake
To collide with the hunted
And be sunken to an endless chaos
Witness the freezing midst of existence

My consciousness evades me.
Haunted by a vast stillness
Comforting in its familiarity,
Yet disorienting.
Chapped lips part in agony,
As unheard cries escape them,
Deafening the neverending chatter of my mind.
A passageway looms afront
Eyelids flutter shut,
As I lower myself to the cold cement.
Warmth envelopes me,
In its gooey scarlet form.

Barren land meets restless waters,
Overcast skies dome above,
I stand.
On pebbled, bone-speckled shorelines,
Where beings once thrived,
I lumber.
Sprayed by mist of waters old as Earth,
Perhaps I'm cleansed,
Of sins forgotten.
Up above rumble the heavens,
Moments before being torn in half
A laceration of blinding light,
That signals Their arrival.
Had the urge to pray not left my conscious mind,
I might have had a chance at redemption.
But Time accepts neither prayers nor oblations
The rusty iron shackles sting my gaunt wrists,
And I remain,
Imprisoned between worlds.

Dark, misty and esoteric trance
Under the rare zodiac

As flames touch my charred skin.
Engulfed by the doomed landscape that I once called home.
I drag my bleeding limbs on dirt and soot,
The final droplets of a survival instinct.
And yet there's nothing to rain upon me,
Neither water nor salvation.
My spirit will remain dweller on this land,
Solely to spite this generation.
